Spiritual-Based Psychotherapy

I see you – the sensitive one.
You’re the one who sees yet doesn’t know how to understand or channel that seeing accurately. The one who is tired of living behind a mask, disconnected from their inner knowing.
Amidst the endless appointments, errands, seemingly urgent crises, and distractions of all kinds, it feels as if you’ve lost your depth, your internal knowing buried underneath doubt. You find you’re moving through the motions of juggling work, family, and relationships.
In the tiredness, you trade in this longing for screentime, and the world starts to feel flat. You’re longing for reconnection. And it comes in a faint whisper.
In these times, it’s essential to step beyond the chaos of modern life, listen to that gentle whisper within, and reclaim your spirit and soul purpose. And perhaps not only your life, but the life of your ancestors, too. Possibly your education in religion, or experience within your family system or the broader culture, has hindered your sense of spirituality.
A sanctuary awaits you.
In spirituality-based therapy, we aim to create a sanctuary for the whole of you – the dread, for the absence, and for the monsters lurking behind the busyness of life, as well as the gifts they bring once we understand them.
We want to create space for that sense of feeling lost and unanchored, and to slow down to rediscover your longing and spark, your path through, and your engagement with aliveness again.

Step back into the awe and wonder of life’s unfolding.
Trauma, whether it’s developmental, ancestral, or collective, can create layers of “frozenness” in our bodies, resulting in habits we wish to release.
There are touchpoints of connection and understanding hidden beneath the surface, and having a witness and an attuned human being can help thaw the layers that conceal the truth of who we are.
After 15 years of meditation and contemplative practice, I’ve cultivated inner space within my body and mind. That space allows me to bring a sense of spaciousness, presence, and mysticism into our work together, blending somatic therapy, mysticism, and trauma healing.
In our sessions together, I meet you where you are, offering genuine sincerity and heartfelt dedication on your spiritual journey.
Transformation involves alchemizing your energetic experience.
It’s not your typical therapy session. It’s being with someone who is dedicated to seeing you, offering care in the form of attunement, considers the intersections of your unique identities, and is on a mission to create a safe space for you to be authentically you.
We build relationships to build our sessions.
In our work, I get to know you. I listen. I attempt to understand not only your story, but also how you present yourself in our sessions and how the therapeutic relationship helps you. We build trust and safety, slowly and with warmth over time, which makes the following pillars possible.
Somatic healing tunes into your body.
I help you get to the truth of what you’re feeling, recognizing, and experiencing in the present moment.
Regulation, while a sign of healing, is not the goal in somatic therapy. Instead, the goal is to be with what is and find grounding within the uncertainty of a body that constantly changes and sends signals.
I base this work on the trust that, when the body is present, it naturally begins to digest the stress it is carrying, and it knows how to move – creating a foundation for healing and transformation.
Mystical practices facilitate healing.
Together, we learn to access intuition and trust deeper states of consciousness to guide our sessions. Surrender is unforced; it is practiced and earned.
We cultivate the humility necessary to walk our path and learn from life.
However, we regard spiritual bypass as part of our healing phase, yet we become aware of this strategy and learn to use it to gain insight into our patterns.
Attachment repair heals the nervous system. Mystical practice brings you beyond.
We focus on cultivating a nervous system that can enter a state of presence and remain connected with oneself, one’s surroundings, and others. It’s within that state that shifts start to happen.
At this level of attachment repair, there’s very little need for analysis or diagnoses; it is simply an unfolding, emergent process. It can take preparation and cultivating safety to get to this state, and the therapy process supports that development.
We build on the premise that growth is awkward and non-linear. We honor and trust that non-linearity.

Imagine a new you.
You will deeply feel you have a right to be (in life), a right to become (to flourish, to express intelligence, and to support each other), and a right to belong (to healthy communities, to relational networks).
The part of you that may have been hurt in religious or spiritual communities can feel restored – increasing your sense of trust in a dimension greater than yourself, allowing you to walk this path of life in your truest sense.
You’ll feel steadier in yourself on a spiritual path, relating to spirituality as a resource to help you integrate the many traumas we face in the world as a result of being human.
And through this, you’ll find your more present, embodied self.
Awaken possibilities: Your next chapter starts here.
In this process, we will help you restore your sense of aliveness – the vibrant connection to yourself that may have felt lost amidst the chaos.
As you reconnect with your inner essence, you will discover the joy and fullness of living from a place of truth and authenticity.
